LSEG Hiring Off Campus- Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline, preferably with a Data Science certification. Understanding of SQL, relational databases, REST APIs, web scraping, and data handling is required, along with good communication and presentation skills.

Role Responsibilities

• Building, testing, and refining next-gen tools used to test cutting-edge networks and hardware.

• Translating feature requirements into actual engineering tasks (basically, turning ideas into real software).

• Working closely with global teams — 

• Handle data processing, data handling, and programming tasks

• Define requirements and support delivery of new or enhanced capabilities

• Translate business needs into solution requirements and specifications

• Propose and implement improvements to products and processes

• Develop automated solutions for sourcing and loading fundamental data

• Analyze legal entity data to identify trends and patterns

• Build extraction solutions for various document formats

• developers, product owners, tech experts — to deliver high-quality solutions.

Desired Skills

You’d be a great fit if you have:

• 1+ year of Data Science project experience in the Finance domain (preferred)

• Proficiency in Python and libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn

• Experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch

• Strong understanding of AI, ML technologies, LLM/SLM models
